(Please note the following FAQs do not relate to the Sustainability Champion Awards or CCC Board of Governors Awards.)
Q Can I self-nominate? In other words, can I nominate a project that I worked on?
A Yes.
Q Will the submittal deadline be extended?
A No.
Q Who selects the winners?
A Winners are selected by a panel of impartial judges with content-area expertise. Panels include staff from the UC Office of the President, CSU Chancellor's Office, and Investor Owned Utilities, as well as sustainability-focused non-profit organizations.
Q Can I nominate the same project in multiple categories?
A In most cases yes. The only exception is that you cannot nominate a project in both the "Sustainability Innovations" category and another category. The reason is that the Sustainability Innovations category is reserved for projects that do not fit into one of the other categories.
Nomination forms vary depending on award category; you will need to submit separate forms for each category that you nominate a project for.
